    Default right click emulator for touchscreen

    i did some investigation and came accross mouseemu. however it seems like mouseemu is no longer part of the suse repositories. also its just available for ppc. is there any way to have a behaviour like ctrl+click + rightclick?

    Hi
    Not sure what you mean, on my touchscreen if I touch the screen for a
    pre-configured time, the right-click activates?

    Both KDE and Gnome have synaptics controllers; so if you have a synaptics touchpad, you can try them. The KDE version certainly allows you to set right-click. If you haven't got them installed, open YaST and search for 'synap' - don't type any more as the spellings are different and you may not get the one you need.

    Hi
    I've regurgitated the one from 11 for the ppc, you will need to use the
    showkey -a command to confirm the keypresses and modify the mouseemu
    sysconfig via YaST /etc/sysconfig editor.

    It should be here soon for >= 11.1;

    the good thing: i can install and start mouseemu. thank u very much.
    the bad thing: as soon as mouseemu runs my keyboard is unuseable with x. i had to start my linux in console mode to get rid of it. the only way i could think of was uninstalling it. maybe its a config thing? i would apprechiate help because the feature of mouseemu is exactly what i am looking 4. also we should protect other users from entering the same trap.
    thx

    Hi
    It only affected some of my keys here (Function and caps lock).

    Yes, you need to run showkeys -a to work out what keys need to be
    mapped before setting the config and starting the application.
