Default very odd posting rhythm this morning

when first check in on most mornings there well be 100 - 150 (or more) messages distributed across three quarters of the fora...in the 12 hours since last check..

this morning there were far less...i thought maybe _everyone_ stayed up last night rooting for the favorite candidate in an election.....somewhere ;-)

but then next check (about an hour later) there were a small handful (when normally there are usually a dozen or so...

i sent a test post via both nntp and hhtp and both were visible in both media....so, it seems the nntp<>hhtp gateway is working..

just now, (about an hour later) there is only ONE post, in the 24 forums sampled via nntp: Other language appearing in forum message

may be nothing wrong with the gateway, but there is something very odd rhythm....(is it a full moon?)

i can't tell for sure, but either there are VERY VERY few posts so far
today....or something is stuck in some fora, and not in others...seems
both this forum and the wireless flow hhtp>nntp, and chat flows both
ways...but, the other seem most abandoned...

course, i know nothing about forum administration, so i'll let someone
in the know do the troubleshooting..

i guess someone found whatever the problem was because suddenly
threads from yesterday (on the http side in applications, hardware,
install/boot/login, multimedia and others) are now showing up in the
    nntp side..

patience is still needed i guess...
    but, how much is enough?

Yes, after weeks of no problems, we had a hiccup. It's been resolved.
