    Default Forum display?

Is there way to change the way forum displays. I have trouble seeing a lot of things in the current default.
    Thanks,

thank you for rebuilding NOLA, but can you be more specific with your
    problem seeing lots of things..

i mean, what kind of things? icons, words, symbols

is it because the contrast between background and fonts/etc is too low?

is it because everything is too small? too fuzzy?

what browser are you using? is it the same if you try another browser?

have you tried adjusting the monitor's brightness, contrast, or color
    controls?

did this 'suddenly' become a problem with the install of new or
    updated software?

do you have trouble seeing things in (say) your email client?

how does your screen look compared to this screen shot i just took of
mine: http://www.imagebam.com/image/e75bb892978059 [NOTE: click on the
screenshot image to see it full size, like i see it]

sorry, i didn't give the direct, basic answer of:

if you, once signed-in, go "Settings" (upper right) then "General
Settings" (under "My Account" in the left column) and then scroll down
to "Thread Display Options" you can try changing those around...but,
that about all there is that you can change *inside* the way the forum
software creates the pages sent to your browser..

there used to be two or three different "forum skins" that you could
select from which gave a greater range of layout, contrast, etc...but
those several skins seem to have been silently dropped with the last
    forum 'upgrade'..

so, if those three in-forum options don't do what you need, then you
will have to resort to fiddling with some or all of those thing i
    mentioned in my earlier post...
