How to mark threads as 'Solved' or 'Closed'?

How do I mark threads in the forum as ‘solved’ or ‘closed’?

If I myself am not able to do this, when / how are threads closed?

You don’t. Just post a message that it is fixed now.

Uwe

Ok, for a try, I declare my question solved and this thread closed …

… I have to admit, though, that I find it convenient if a resolved issue can be marked ‘solved’ in the thread title. Very convenient if you are looking for an answer and have to browse through tens of threads. :\

Cheers,

Nothing to stop you changing the title - at least if you use NNTP.

Could you tell me how that works, or point me to an info page?
