Hi,
I have Intel DP35DP motherboard (with the latest BIOS, May 21, 2008).
This motherboard has Intel 82566DC-2 10/100/1000 network controller
(Rev 02, PCI ID: 8085:294c). CPU: Intel E8400 (3.0 GHz, C2D).
I have installed SuSE 11.0 (EM64T) on this system and network worked well.
After upgrading kernel up to ‘2.6.25.9-0.2-default’ level, network
stopped to work, it produces the following messages in ‘dmesg’:

Any network command complains on ‘no route to host’.
I downloaded and recompiler the latest Intel driver (e1000e-0.4.1.7.tar.gz),
installation went smoothly, but … with the same result – network doesn’t
work!
Can somebody help with resolving this really annoying problem? It is
especially unfortunate story, because very many of new Intel motherboards
have the same network adapter … %-((
Thank you in advance.
Sincerely yours,
Volodymyr
