Just a tip:
If your desktop uses compositing, you could try using glc for recording. It's much better than any other capturing software that I've seen, but only works for GLX applications (such as games or a compositing WM).
Note that you have to change the build script a bit to get it to work on non-debian systems (you just have to change the git commands).

For some crazy odd reason I noticed this morning lycos will not let me link files from one site to another. Since geocities is going away very soon thanks to M$ (BOO!) I think I found a better alternative anyway using Googles picasa. It also may be a neet idea for others to post their screenshots.

Picasa Web Albums - exodist2009 - August 2009 D...

Lets see if those work better.. :-)
