Default Mono Installation/Repositories

Should I use the Mono libraries/repositories that come out of the box with the SUSE 11.1 installation or should I just install off of the Mono web site? I ask because I believe each has their own repositories. Hopefully someone can give me a direction here.

Default Re: Mono Installation/Repositories

I'm curious which would be better.

I think the one from the openSUSE repository will be slightly behind, but more stable, versions while from the Mono-Project site you can get the more up-to-date.

One thing, though, I haven't quite figured out is how to use a more up-to-date version of Mono for development and the stable and expected version for the Mono-based apps running as clients on the desktop like F-Spot and Banshee.
