Default Wants help in Scipy and Numpy

I am interested to learn Python language and has python in my suse 11.1. I came to read modules named Scipy and numpy which is (the book says) of much help in writing science and mathematical programmes. From where to down load these modules and how can we add it to present Python programme?

Hi
Delete it....

python-numpy and python-scipy are in the repositories;
http://software.opensuse.org/search?

If you open YaST software repositories and then select the community
repositories to add, scroll down and select Education.

You can then install them using YaST software management.

If you need help with applications from the Education Repository, feel free to ask via IRC, Email or in the OBS-Education - openSUSE Forums here.

Or have a look at Education/Communicating - openSUSE to see how you can reach us ;-)

With kind regards,
Lars
