Default 11.2 RC2 - Still need to install BCM4311 firmware

First of all thanks for this great Release Candidate - works fine!

Just to clarify, that I still have to install the bcm4311 firmware, even this can be read in the wifi network-sticky:

"This situation is changing rapidly. For example, open-source firmware for the Broadcom BCM4306/3 BCM4318, and BCM4311/1 was just released. Future openSUSE versions will be able to include this firmware and those devices will work immediately."

I was also confused be this message in the boot.msg:
Broadcom 43xx driver loaded [ Features: PML, Firmware-ID: FW13 ]

But it is still very simple to install - just cableconnect to your router and type:

> sudo /usr/sbin/install_bcm43xx_firmware

And this time I could install without turning network to ifup (stayed in Network manager) :-)

Once again thanks and good luck with the GM.

HP Pavilion dv9000, x86-64 bit KDE live cd, BCM4311 wifichip.

The open-source firmware has run into what seems to be a very subtle
bug, and is not ready yet.

One clue. After you install the firmware, copy the contents of
/lib/firmware/b43 to some external device. Then when you install a new
version, just copy those files back into that directory. Those files
are _NOT_ kernel or distro dependent.
