Default Clock and systray in the right corner

I just upgraded to KDE 4.2.85 (deleted plasmarc and similar files found in config ) since some of the widgets aren't in the right place.
I'd like the systray and digital clock to have on the right side. Anyone knows how can i accomplish this?

I am not sure if I understood your problem.

if your clock and system tray are not aligned to the right side of panel, try moving the widgets in the panel.

unlock widgets
right click on panel and select panel settings
now select the widget and slide it to arrange as required.

let me know if thats what you were looking for

cheers

Well, i wasn't born yesterday
I tried that, i also renamed .kde4 folder but after the system recreates it then it also is aligned in the middle and it is not possible to move that clock to the right. When "turning on" panel settings and trying to "move" it to the right side it doesn't work. It's highlighted in the middle and nada. I tried all sort of things like making the panel smaller (yes, i tried to recreate it, same situation) then resizing but to no avail it doesn't work.

I would try renaming the ~/.kde4/share/config/plasma-appletsrc file, then regenerate the file by setting up your panel again.

I has a quick look at the contents of this file yesterday, and noted the applet positions seem to be stored in geometry setting like this:

Quote:
[Containments][73][Applets][88]
geometry=1194,3,64,32
immutability=1
plugin=digital-clock
zvalue=0
So it might be feasible to experiment and hand-edit the relevant sections if preferred.

I found out what was the problem. It was the stask, normal task manager works fine.

Thanks for update. I only use the latter.

i don't know if this is related, but...

yesterday i reinstalled opensuse 11.1 with the reloaded cd (with kde 4.2.2) and then upgraded to kde unstable (4.2.85) and encountered several plasma-related problems.
so i deleted all the plasma-related config files and it solved the problem.
