Default Question about Nomad, if anyone here played with it yet

Is the Nomad remote desktop system, Nomad - openSUSE, compatible with Kwins desktop effects? I know they article talks about support for compiz effects if both the server and client have a plug-in installed but doesn't talk about Kwin effects. I am looking forward to testing this out, currently using VNC for remote desktop but it does not have this promise Nomad has that and more places have VNC's ports blocked than they have RDC ports blocked.

I tried Nomad yesterday, but it did not work. It seems to work with gdm only at the moment. See https://bugzilla.novell.com/show_bug.cgi?id=442710 and https://bugzilla.novell.com/show_bug.cgi?id=441750

That doesn't really answer my question on if it works with Kwin's desktop effects in KDE4, I know it works with compiz with a plugin.
