Default problem with no spec/dsc/kiwi file using OBS...

Hi everyone, I'm new around here. I'm trying to make a custom OpenSuSE 11.1 distro with OBS. I want to put some packages in it but I can't seem to understand how OBS fully works.

I assume that I have to provide the source code (tar.gz) of the program or package that I want to add. I do that, but it says broken and no spec/dsc/kiwi file , but I really don't know what that message stand for (no spec/dsc/kiwi file), I'm trying to find some information but I'm getting more confused every time I read something new.

I hope that you can help me, greetings!

Hi
To build an rpm you need the source <something>.tar.bz2 (bz2 is best
for OBS) and a rpm spec file. If you look to the left and see in the
'Help' section on the OBS about writing spec files.

You would be far better off applying to get on susestudio to build it.
