Default How to fix xsane when you get a "broken pipe" error

Fixing xsane when you get a "broken pipe" error.

I ran into this with OpenSuSe 11.0 and 11.1, this is how the error might look:
using copy in Xsane on your scanner to the default printer you get these errors:
error during save: broken pipe
error during save: resource temporarily unavailable
failed to execute printer command: "socket://10.1.1.7:9100
or somethimg very close to this.

Ok you can try this as it worked for me.
It looks like this:

Open xsane : Menu > Graphics > xsane > Preferences > Setup > Copy tab.
Fill in the fields with the correct information for your system like the example below.
Printer Selection: new printer
Name: samsungml2010 (this is the name of my printer)
Command: lpr -P samsungml2010
Click Apply

Now you should be able to make copies from your scanner to your printer
