How to add audio CD and DVD actions to the KDE4 Device Notifier

Here are a couple videos and the files that I made.

I know this will make a few folks on a couple other forums happy (if it works for someone besides me )

Please test it on your system and let me know if it works for you.

I couldn't see the video,is there any chance you could upload to you tube?

If using firefox, you need flash plugin.

If the audio is there but no video right click on the top center of the page and select play.

I am working out why this needs to done sometimes.

I don't use youtube, I don't like the quality of the videos at youtube, and I prefer not to use youtube.

I have changed the code and embedded player.

It should work fine for you now.

I don't know why but the action of opening a cd with kaffeine or amarok doesn't work for me.
It would be interesting to have this kind of file for other players, I'm not an expert so i don't know how to create them.

I am using amarok 1.4.

Are you using 1.4 or the newer amarok2?

Just tested on my wifes machine.

I had to install amarok from packman, and use the xine engine, then it worked.

Updated KSCD action so it starts playing CD when KSCD opens.

Hmm, just remembered this post and since the video doesn't work anymore what folder do you put these desktop files in?
