hi,
I would like to install suse on an iMac in an external drive, so I downloaded a liveCD and ran it, but I can't connect to the network, by wifi. the wifi hardware is a broadcom BCM43xx, and its driver is normally included in the kernel of suse. can you tell me the steps to install the network? thank you, olivier. |

As you do not say which BCM43xx you have, this advice cannot be definitive, but it is likely that you need the firmware. Please read stickie #3 in this forum. It tells you how to install firmware when you do not have network access when running Linux. Alternatively, you could copy the files from /lib/firmware/b43 on some other Linux with a Broadcom device. |
