So, I have a Dell Latitude D600 equipped with a Broadcom Corporation BCM4306.
When I perform a lspci -vnn | grep 14e4 command I get: Broadcom Corporation BCM4306 802.11b/g Wireless LAN Controller [14e4:4320] (rev 02) I installed the bcm43xx firmware by performing a sudo /usr/sbin/install_bcm43xx_firmware command. The problem I have is that my wireless speed in limited to 1M/sec. I can force it to 2M/sec, but my wireless won't connect any faster than that. I get the same results whether I connect using WPA or not. Is there any way I can get it to connect faster? |

I get a bit better performance than you do, but the implementation is lacking something - I don't know what. |
