After I installed madwifi like listed on other similar threads I tried to connect with Wicd and discovered that Wicd (a Network Manager) detect wireless networks only when I unplug then replug my usb adapter, seconds after that networks disappear again.
The same thing with kwifi Manager and when scanning networks on Yast Wireless Network Manager. I think somehow the device automatically shutdown after a certain period, but the led on the adapter still flash ! Anyone can help please! |

I'm finnaly connected with my Sagem Xn-720s usb wireless adapter.
I had to download the "ar9170" package, here is the link: "http://download.opensuse.org/repositories/driver:/wireless/11.1-update/noarch/ar9170-firmware-1.1-1.2.noarch.rpm" |
