Hello - I'm new to the forum as well a Linux. I know my way around just enough to get by and I'm picking up. I have a Gateway ML6721 laptop with SUSE 10.3 installed. Everything works great except for my wireless which I cannot seem to get to work. I've tried using ndiswrapper with no success. It says the driver is installed however I still cant see the wireless card. The wireless IS enabled via the hot-keys. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.
Chipset - Intel GL960 NIC - Realtek RTL8101E Thanks.. if any more info is needed please let me know. |

Yea, I read through the stickies, but still could'nt get it to work. I had this issue a few years ago when I tried to load Ubuntu on it as well. I may just have to use it without wireless. Thanks.

Have you tried the compat-wireless drivers ? compat-wireless install the one appropriate for your system & give them a try

Thanks. Your Realtek RTL8101E is not the wireless device - it is for wired connections. What wireless device does your computer have? |
