Hello forum i bought myself a netbook for school and while experimenting with linux (opensuse 11.1 gnome) on a vm in
vista im using it as core system on the netbook right now (Samsung N110) (Artheros card AR245x)Everything works smoothly out of the box Now i want to do some aircracking etc.. Got myself into madwifi drivers and after 2 days i got them patched (blacklisted the old ones) and installed same goes for aircrack it works like a charm! The problem is: when i boot and after i put in the keystring for the nm-applet it than prompts the second screen asking me to input the wpa/psk key for my wlan I put in the key and than this happens: Again it asks me to insert the wpapskkey The wpapsk key i put in is guaranteed working. (The problem existed as well while i used the old drivers ath5k ath9k) But my grandmaster linux noob solution is a reboot and than it works again without prompting me infinite times to insert a wpapsk234 passkey A search on the net didnt gave me the hints and tips needed, i found lots of posts with ppls wlan not working at all.. -- when i command after destroying ath0 su.bla@root: wlanconfig ath0 create wlandev wifi0 wlanmode ap (EDIT: i tried sta as wlanmode and it works but should i somehow execute this at launch!?) it gives the same errors but a reboot fixes all.... Does anyone know how to fix this bug?! Its not the driver if you ask me! |
