Default Wireless network problem in openSuse 11.1

hi all,

From last few days I am facing issues in accessing wireless network in my openSuse11.1 installation. Sometime it detects and sometimes it not and if it detects also the network manager does not connect to network even the network strength is excellent. My wireless card(atheros 5XXX) is initialized properly at boot time.Following are some of the details:
1. Laptop : acer 4710Z
2. Wireless Router : NetGear WGR614v9
3. Modem to router connectivity is thourgh ethernet cable.
4. Router to PC connectivity is wireless.

I need to know -

1. How to collect logs if any related to wireless network access.
2. What are the basic steps to diagnose a wireless connection.
3. It is the problem with network manager?

One thing you can do is open wireless connection window(usually located at the bottom to the right on your screen) check there to see if you have the right key entered for the router. sometimes the key is wrong and needs to be changed depending on the router.
if the key is correct you might have to reset the router to reconnect to the system.....
i hope this helps.
