Things to check:-

1 ) firewall is not blocking the card
2 ) ipv6 is set to off
3 ) correct encryption is set on both devices
4 ) you are connecting to the correct ESSID
5 ) MAC address filtering is not on
6 ) check you are getting an ip address

ipv6 can be disabled in the global options in YaST - network devices - network settings.MAC address filtering is carried out by your router, check it's configuration pages.

this says to me you have not associated/configured it with any router.Try clicking network manager- new connection, select wireless device & fill in the details.at the end, click save, not save & connect. Then click network manager & your access point/router should be visible.click on it to connect
