Default Dell Wireless 1395 WLAN Mini-Card

HI..

my laptop running dual boot Windows Vista and OpenSuse 11.1 64 bit. all works fine except for the wireless connection in OpenSuse. I got problem to configure wireless to make it up and running.

Quote:
uname -a
Linux linux-aic5 2.6.27.21-0.1-default #1 SMP 2009-03-31 14:50:44 +0200 x86_64 x86_64 x86_64 GNU/Linux
The wireless card is Dell Wireless 1395 WLAN Mini-Card.

Quote:
0c:00.0 Network controller: Broadcom Corporation BCM4312 802.11b/g (rev 01)
Subsystem: Dell Wireless 1395 WLAN Mini-Card
I hope this gives enough information regarding my system.

I had read about configure my Broadcom wireless card using NdisWrapper, but I can't find the way how to do it.

thanks in advanced.

Have a peek at the stickies at the start of the wireless section.Lots of good info there. From the looks of it you *may* be better using the broadcom drivers found here PackMan :: Package details for broadcom-wl or the b43 drivers. The stickies cover installing the b43 drivers & the broadcom-wl driver is just a click away

Two things for you to do. First, read the stickies, which will tell
you how to determine and report which wireless adapter you have. The
solution varies widely depending on that information. Second, please
start a new thread.
