Anybody please help me. My wireless card (Broadcom BCM4312) did not work with opensuse 11. Can u give me step by step link like this one [ubuntu] Broadcom Wireless Setup for Hardy (Step by step) - Ubuntu Forums to solve my problem? Thanks.

Only loading the driver is not enough to make it work - you'll have to obtain the firmware from a windows driver, too, which is not redistributed because of copyright issues. If you have a working Internet connection,try: sudo /usr/sbin/install_bcm43xx_firmware Otherwise, try: less /usr/sbin/install_bcm43xx_firmware and do what the script tries to do manually :-) Cheers, Lothar |
