Does WEP work in 11.2?

i am about to install 11.2 on my netbook, but in my house i use wireless and i secure it with WEP now last time i used a KDE 4.2.3 it won't connect with WEP?

It works for me although I don't and wouldn't use it.
WPA would be better.

Yes, WEP works with NetworkManager in 11.2, but you should not use it.
It can be cracked in 5 minutes or less.
