Default increase internet speed

I am using dialup internet connection.I check my internet speed in the site http://www.ip-details.com/.My internet speed is too low.How to increase the internet speed?

Try this SDB:Disabling IPv6 completely - openSUSE
Although it would help if we knew more. Like what speed you are getting.

Code:
gnome-nettool
will show your stats. Just choose eth0. After disabling IPv6 you will need to reboot before the changes take effect.

Disable ipv6 in network configuration, and then try.

IPv6 or not won't change much on dial-up !
at best you're looking at 56k with a top quality phone line and top quality ISP

Unfortunately most of the Internet seems to have overlooked the fact that not everyone has access to broadband so even the most basic use is going to crawl

defining "slow" would be a good start though
