I'm also using Opera 10 on openSUSE 11.1 x86_64. Opera is unresponsive only when it tries to run java applet. I use Flash 10 64bit Alpha and it doesn't have any problem with that..

I've been having issues with Opera as well, usually doesnt finish loading a page, and starts eating lots of cpu time. I'm assuming that this is due to it not being built with the latest QT libraries. I've had similar issues when QT was updated in 3.x era. Hopefully this will be resolved by RC2... if not we may have whine and throw temper tantrums here until it is, and that wont be a pretty site.. 8)
