Suse 11.1 LDAP CONFIG PROBLEM

Hi i Just installed openLDAP, i used yast to configure. Everything works great, i can create users, login when i start the yast user panel, all looks fine, but when i try to do ldapsearch, or reenter the yast ldap config, i get an invalid athentication type error 7.

Since i removed all ldap references and tried it again, and got the same result, it looks like a yast bug, or ldap bug, but can anyone help me resolve this problem?
