Default how to configure my internet connection?

i recently installed opensuse 11.0 in my computer. i am new user in Linux so please tell me step by step how can i configure my internet connection in opensuse 11.0. i am using alliance broadband connection in my windows xp operating system where i use 24onlineClient software to log in

How do you connect your pc to the internet? Direct from an ISP router, through your own router? wireless? Dial-up? Encrypted, not-encrypted?

Unless you have a wireless connection, it is pretty much plug & play.

if you installed 11.0 while the computer was connected to that
broadband connection, it should have done everything you needed done...

wait! what is that "24onlineClient software to log in" stuff...what
kind of broadband are you talking about? and how IS your computer
connected to it?
