Default xDSL Bonding..

hi guys.
after many weeks i finally found the option to
do bonding... sadly its not working....
i have 2 x xDSL modem connected to 2 nic and the 3rd is conected to my lan network....
i can set the dsl no problem, and i am using the linux as the gateway. internet access is no problem. after setting up the bonding, with all bond0, i can no longer browse the new. after checking and testing, i feel its the route problem as the default route is set to one of the dslx, i think it should be default bond0. i tried setting default route using "route add default gw bond0", it give error
any advice
tq
