I have a problem with Open SUSE 11.1. I have been running Open SUSE 10.3 for some while it's good if a bit slow, so I decided to upgrade to 11.1 I did a new install on a different HDD, all went well, no probs. Except that aMule will not run for more than 1/2 to 1 hour before it loses the net connection. I have to shut down including the cable modem, then it is OK again for a while before stopping again. I have never had this prob with 10.3. My system is :- AMD Athlon 3400 single core, nVidia Graphics, Vigin Media 8GB Broadband via a Cable modem. It is surely a problem with 11.1 as 10.3 on the same box works fine no prob's.
Anybody any ideas ? |

I am having the same problem in 11.1. It seems to be an issue with the DHCP client. This only happened to me after a kernel upgrade, but I need this kernel to run my graphics driver, so I can't downgrade back. So, I'll see if I can figure this out.
