Default Problem connecting wireless network

I have installed the driver for Ralink 2561 from the kmp-package, and put
the firmware files in the /lib/firmware folder. I can se other networks
including my own in network manager, but when I try to connect, it stops
when it comes to IP configuration. Does anybody have a clue what this is
about?
