I used my mothers computers previously, all using winxp. At 20 i bought my first computer, i don't know why, but i got an apply computer, i soon installed win7 on it but then got interested in Gnu/Linux and finally committed to trying. My os histery from that point went like this.

Opensuse is my distro of choice; why?
A few reasons, the main reasons being rpm and zypper. I don't think i will go back to a deb distro. My reasons do not limit me to opensuse, but i've been very impressed with the stability opensuse accomplishes. I have not gone through a upgrade procedure yet, so hopefully i won't be disappointed.
