hard to tell exactly what you are looking for....like, do you want a
calendar program to tell the agents who is on call _this_ weekend...or
a calculator to determine a projected payments schedule...or a client
tracker....or a assisted telephone cold calling director....or . . .

how about a full listing of all properties for sale, by zip code,
local, state/nation wide?

or just a tie in to your local MLS?? what?

one thing to do is look at the real estate agency software you are
familiar with, and see if it is open source, or if they offer it for
Linux..and, ask them why they don't...

if it is only for the Redmond game machines maybe it will run in WINE..

i'm unfamiliar with Joomla, so i had a look, and this search
http://www.google.com/search?q=site%3Ajoomla.org+"real+estate" gave
over 5000 hits but i didn't find any "real estate software"...yes,
lots of web sites that would be useful for marketing real
estate...but, i didn't get the idea s/he was looking for a site design...

of course, i already admitted i didn't know what kind of agency
software s/he wanted..

on the other hand, you mention apps...could you help with my education
and point me to a joomla real estate application (vs joomla content
management system controlled web site).. tia

Thanks Rikishi42 for the links. The software sought, by the way, was for a sales and rental roll agency (tenants/owners, vendors/buyers and the running pitchfork battles in between). Would like to find something that is sympathetic to the penguin. Thanks again.

Hello! Take a look at freshmeat this site has software for everything including property management for r agents and database software i am sure you will find it there..

and if it is web development you need dreamweaver and flash for linux are the best......
