Looking for a KDE 3.5.10 repo for openSUSE 10.3

Hello all,

I've just seen there is no KDE 3.5.10 repo anymore for Opensuse 10.3 on the opensuse server (Index of /repositories/KDE:/KDE3). And I haven't found it anywhere else. Is there still a place where I can grab it?

Due to some old software, I still run suse 10.3 on a pc. And after a fresh install because of a hard drive crash, I couldn't update my kde to 3.5.10.
Does anyone know if a mirror of this repo is still available somewhere else? Or can I use one repo for suse 11.* to update kde on suse 10.3?

thanks for your reply. However, i was looking for the KDE 3-5-10 directory. The one that could be found under:

http://download.opensuse.org/reposit.../openSUSE_10.3

Can it still be found somewhere?

From what I see all 10.3 repos other than oss, non-oss and update were removed last week. This would have included all versions of KDE released after 3.5.7. The 10.3 update repo will be KDE 3.5.7.

Unless some other kind soul out there who still uses 10.3 on some hardware (like us obviously) has set up an alternative repo, upgrades after re-installs are not possible. You can still update of course.

The failure to provide an easy upgrade path even for base installs is a significant downside with open source, particularly if you customise a lot or run a network with various hardware attached. I know this is being worked on, at least for base installs. Bring it on.

You could look at trying the SLE10 repository, whislt based on 10.1,
it's currently at SP3 which should (in theory) be equiv to 10.3. Or
grab the src rpms and rebuild on a 10.3 system?

Ask on the mailing list and see if someone there has something stored
away.
