Default worth upgrading to Mesa 7.5/X1.7 after OpenSuse 11.2 is out

Hi All

Very self explainitory, obviously disappointed that 7.5 was not going to be released in time for the autumn distro released. So how hard would it be to upgrade the 7.4 package when 11.2 is released?????

I would already be using the factory kernel but amd Fglrx doesn't keep up to date with recently or just about to be released kernels

policy change is needed there............

Is it a policy change, a matter of resources, or the complexities or constraints of a distro's development life cycle?
