Hi,
Not sure to understand what exactly you are after. Do you want to write a script that reads every IP address from the data file and configure a rule in the ipfilter/iptables subsystem so that the kernel rejects/drop every packet having anyone of them as the origin IP address? Is that your concern? If yes, you will do better if you edit the /etc/sysconfig/SuSEfirewall2. You can do it by hand, or better yet, via Yast, module firewall. By the way, the right place for network kind of problems is Network/Internet forum. Hope this helps. Regards. |
