Opensuse restricted drivers.
I have a question.
To my knowledge opensuse isnt shipped with any restricted drivers or software. but when i installed the 11.2 rc2 kde livecd athleast flash was working out of the box. so why is it so?

did you add the packman repo?

Flash is found on Non-Oss as you correctly stated it doesn't allow much but does allow some Java etc ...
Index of /distribution/11.1/repo/non-oss/suse/i586 here are the non-oss for 11.1

Man first, have a try at Info, have a look at Wiki, if all that fails Scroogle!!!!! If I've helped click on the Rep button I don't know what it does but it sounds cool.
