Default USB install questions

Hello, i want to install openSUSE on my eeepc. So i have
to create an install USB. This can be done with the
Code:
if=.. of=..
command. The dvd image is 4.2 GB. How big must the usb
stick be? Will a 4GB sized do the job? Or i have to get
a bigger one?

Seriously?

Probably not, no. And you probably will, yes.

You could try.

Why not just use the Live CD image? You can download any missing packages for it afterwards...
