Hello all!
I know that this must be a noob question, but I just don't seem to bee able to get it done... I've configured the LDAP server (up'n'runnin') and the LDAP client so that the system allows LDAP user authentication. I'm just missing the part of creating the users. Up to now I've been able to do everything through Yast:
Is it possible to do through YAST? If not, how can it be done? Please be patient with my ignorance ![]() Best regards, Jorge |

Found something!
![]() Here you can find the OpenSuse 10.3 reference manual. Under "Services"->"LDAP"->"Configuring LDAP users" you'll find the procedure for creating LDAP users. I'm using OpenSuse 11.1, hope it works, haven't tested yet, but by the looks of it seems to be ok. Any idea why this stuff isn't on the OpenSuse 11.1 reference manual? Best regards, Jorge |
