randr recurrent error

Hi,
I'm using an openSuse Linux as a remote server from a mac. I access to it via the ssh utility. Each time I launch a software that need a window, the window appear but with an "error/warning" ; for instance :

Code:

~> gedit&
[1] 9386
~> Xlib:  extension "RANDR" missing on display "localhost:10.0".

Anyway the window is launched, but the alert at each time is very boring ? So what does that mean ? What could I do to fix it ?
