Exclamation upgrade from opensuse 10.3

Hi all
i need to change my linux to ubunto?
can i upgrade it or i should have install ubunto?

It's not a good idea to install a different distro on on top of another. If you put /home on its own partition and each distro on its own root partition, you can keep /home and multiboot. Otherwise, backup your data and do a fresh install, formatting the old root partition.

Also, you can use the same swap partition for both.
