Default Problems booting openSUSE (random color bars)

When I boot (verbose) I see a configuring x configuration message then something about HAL before the screen goes blank and then shows random color bars on the screen. I can't go fa rther than this. When I use the check it says that the md5 checksum is invalid however the ISO I downloaded has the correct checksum and I burned at a low speed (4 with isorecorder). What can I do to solve this?

UPDATE:
The CD runs fine on my laptop and another desktop. Still does not seem to work with this computer

Try setting a lower resolution on the initial install screen. It's one of the F keys.
