Hello!
I installed the opensuse 11.2 two days ago and I simple can't connect with a wireless network! My laptop informs that exists a wireless network, I write the right password and nothing happen! My laptop is a Intelbras i473 celeron 2.13 with a Realtek 8187B Wireless driver. Somebody now what is happening? Thanks. Pedro Cipoli |

maybe you need first associate your wireless card to a network first:
iwconfig <wlan0> essid <your wireless network name> rcnetwork restart above is for my wireless network, I am lazy :-), if you want more options for your wireless, the better you can search the opensuse user guide for how to configure wireless? |

I just installed opensuse for the first time myself. does it not scan for available networks? when i ran the live CD on the laptop i was unable to see any wireless networks which i can normally see about five.
