Default Troubles with wi-fi speed

Hello, members! I have a problem with speed of my wi-fi card in the Dell Inspiron 1300 laptop. At first, I setup my wireless card usin' this My wireless doesn't work - a primer on what I should do next - openSUSE Forums manual. At second, my OS is Open suse 11.0. At third, the problem is that my laptop copy files to other computers in my wireless network. My router is D-Link Dir300 and other computers of my network copy files ti each other with the fool 802.11 g speed, but my laptop copy files with the 1 megabyte speed. What can I do to decide this trouble?

Sorry for my English, I am from Ukraine and level of my English is bad very much.

Sounds like a driver problem to me. Think your model of laptop uses a broadcom chipset for the wireless.

Can you post the output of the following command when you enter it in a konsole?

Code:

(1) The level of the Broadcom drivers has advanced a lot since the
kernel used in 11.0, which I think is 2.6.25. If you want to improve
your performance, then you need to upgrade. I would wait for 2 weeks
and get 11.2.

(2) How do you think we might answer questions about wifi performance
without telling us which model you have?
