Default SATA hot swap

Hello all,

I have a Gigabyte GA-EP45-UD3R motherboard. It has the ICH10 southbridge on it.

The SATA controllers support ACHI/hot-swap, but do I need to do anything with OS 11.0 to enable this?

It seems the ahci driver is loaded.

Tesla:/home/wjtaylor # modprobe -l | grep ahci
/lib/modules/2.6.25.20-0.5-default/kernel/drivers/ata/ahci.ko

Assuming I purchase a hot swap tray, is there anything else I need to do to make this function correctly? Note, this is for a software raid (5) device.

Thanks,
WT
