resolution problems

i have a hp f756nr laptop. In SAX11 the best resolution that i can choose is 1024*768 but the monitor is capable of 1080*800 help

Graphics card make ? are you using correct drivers ? version of openSUSE ?

Have you got the Nvidia drivers installed?

IIRC that has a gf7000m series in it??

I think the ones from SuSE should support this chipset, that is both the
oneclick and the repo might be OK.

looking at the supported chips in the latest on the nvidia site version:

185.18.31

Do support the 7000 series.

So choose your poison::
