So I'm on openSUSE 11.1 64-bit with an ATI Radeon HD4890 and a Logitech QuickCam for Notebooks. I'm trying to get it set up, but when I try to test it with xawtv, my screen goes blank, and I have to do a hard reboot to get my machine back. The webcam does appear in lsusb, and I'm using the proprietary driver from ATI, version 9.6. Anybody have any experience/advice with this?
The command I'm trying to run is: Code:
xawtv -c /dev/video0 |
