Default Patch for UVC driver for Acer Crystal Eye Webcam

How can I apply the patch that was post here ([Linux-uvc-devel] PATCH: Acer Crystal Eye WebCam (064e:a101 Suyin Corp.)) in OpenSUSE11.1 or any Suse version.

I dont want to manually install my drivers and patches. I want this fix so that other users who have the same webcam can easily fix it.

In this repo you'll find the uvcvideo kernel-module. Don't know if the patch already made it into that. Just install and see what it does. If it's the right one, it should be autoselected for install.

thanx for the reply but the patch hasn't applied it yet.

after fresh install, my webcam doesn't start automatically, i need to run luvcview twice in order to run and other webcam software doesn't work so i uninstalled it and install it manually.

i believe this patch is just for Acer Webcam coz i tried any USB webcam and it works while the built-in cam doesn't.

P.S. the repository i used is UVC Webcams - openSUSE
