The easiest and safest "priority" for Videolan is to completely deactivate it (after installing the one and only package where you really _might_ need Videolan, namely libdvdcss, all other stuff and _a lot more_ is provided from packman).

(Of course this is mentioned in many threads/howtos, wikis *you name it* ... but obviously nobody cares reading them anyway.....)

The update repo needs to have it's priority set to 99 like most of the others, especially if you are using the kde42 repo

1) Why main repositories have lower priority? What's the reason about that?

2) I get connection error (download (curl) error) for www2.ati.com repository. YaSt2 cannot download packages. What should I do?
