Default opensuse 11.1 won't print on A4 on HP4plus

Hi i have just migrated from Puppy linux to os 11.1 thinking all the problems would be sorted but am getting the old "load letter" problem where I can't seem to configure the system to print in A4 rather than letter. Have sometimes thought it would be easier to buy letter paper but a4 is default here in nz.

Have tried various drivers and also installing from cups and also from the command line.

Has anyone been down this path before?

thanks, Russ )

Open cups page setup (http://localhost:631) and go under printers / modify
printer preferences.

There must be an option under General named "Media Size". Just define
there "A4" size.
